Frequently Asked Questions
Does anyone need to know that I am coming to you? Confidentiality is not only our legal responsibility but also our commitment to you. The only people who will know that you have come to visit with us are those that you tell or that you request us to provide information to (i.e. insurance companies, other doctor's, etc.). Will you put me on medication? Anti-depressants and other medications can help you to sort through and cope with situations in your life. Our desire is to help you to work through them. If we feel that a medication may be an option in your treatment we will refer you to a competient psychiatrist to discuss the options and answer any questions you have about medications. The prescription would come from your doctor or psychiatrist rather than from your Champions Christian Counseling Center Counselor. Who can I contact for additional help? There are many 800#'s also available for assistance. Please call us and we will be happy to help in any way we can. Office Hours Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday appointments available from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
