Kimberlee Parmer, MS, LCDC, LPC Intern

Kim Parmer is first and foremost the proud mother of three beautiful children. She is originally from Portland, Maine and married Ted, a native Texan, 28 years ago.

Kim received her Bachelor’s Degree from Illinois State University and her Master’s from Prairie View A & M. She is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor since 1988 and a Licensed Practical Counselor Intern. She is passionate about equipping those healing from emotional hurts and trauma and the devastating effects of addiction.

Kim is a contract therapist for Shield Bearer Counseling Centers, and Career Recovery Services and Focusing Families and works part-time for the Sexual Assault Resource Center in Bryan, Texas.

She volunteers as a Child Advocate for CASA (Child Appointed Special Advocate) and serves on the board of Hello Hempstead, a non-profit organization serving grandmothers raising their grandchildren and helping felons returning to their community.
