Abuse
There
are many kinds of abuse that people deal with. Some of these are not
recognized as abuse until much later in life. Often we think of abuse
only as when someone physically beats on a person but the emotional
and verbal abuse can be just as destructive. Abuse can range from mild
to life threatening, from verbal to physical damage, and from the new
born to the elderly. Abuse of all kinds can affect the way people behave
and think and can affect them for the rest of their lives.
If you feel that you are in a unhealthy or abusive relationship,
regardless of the extent of the abuse, you need to seek guidance and
possibly shelter.
