Alzheimer's Disease for the Care Giver A diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease can be devastating for family members. According to the National Caregiving Foundation the following are a list of symptoms of Alzheimer's disease. If a person has some of the symptoms it doesn't necessarily constitute a diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease, however, one should be examined by a physician if a number of these are present.
