Divorce
Every member of the family experience change as a result of divorce. Some are positive and some are negative. Research has shown, however, that divorce of the parents is less of a factor than the interaction of the parents at any stage in a child's development. If there are intense arguments; physical abuse; addiction; rejection and / or maltreatment of the children during the marriage or divorce, the child is more likely to be adversely affected by remaining in the unstable environment than by living in a single family home in a loving and stable environment.
