Some things you should tell your children include:
- The special feeling a parent has
for a child never changes even though the parents feel differently
about each other.
- Children should be told how much
their parents regret the pain their decision has caused.
- Children need to continue in their
"routine" (especially younger children).
- Children need to hear that their
parents will always love them and make sure their needs are met.
- Your child should be told that you
are always willing to listen to them regarding the concerns about
the divorce.
